Complete alarm monitoring &false alarm filtering
SSS are the industry leaders in this field with an average of >90% false alarm filtering. Our Communications Centre is staffed by highly experienced operators who are skilled in all aspects of alarm monitoring and keyholder response procedures. Every alarm incident is recorded and the cause is diagnosed immediately by our operatives who invoke appropriate follow-up and remedial actions.
Managed Police response
Sophisticated alarms and monitoring systems are useless if the police refuse to respond to calls. This happens when your security suppliers fail to identify false alarms correctly and call the police out unnecessarily. SSS leads the security industry in reducing the number of false alarm callouts.
But no system is perfect so it is equally important to know exactly which sites are at risk so that remedial action can be taken before the site becomes off-response. SSS produce reports for clients and for the relevant system supplier which highlights the causes of false alarms, identifies off-response sites and details the action required for re-instatement.
Incident verification &tailored response
Verification is at the heart of the ACPO policy which governs Police response. So it is essential that all alarm incidents are properly verified to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
SSS has wide experience of the most sophisticated alarm verification techniques and technologies which means we can recommend the best system for your operation.
Full management reporting
SSS generates tailored reports for all sites at agreed intervals (daily, weekly or monthly) in a format that best suits the needs of the individual client representative. These reports can include a full analysis of all alarm incidents together with the response initiated and the current status of that incident.
Remote Video Surveillance
Because SSS centralises all CCTV feeds at its Communications Centre we offer clients real-time access to their entire CCTV network using a secure web browser. This offers a wide range of benefits from visual verification of alarms to regular site tours and remote site monitoring.

Health &Safety Support
Staff are the most important asset for any retail company and increasingly stringent and complex Health &Safety regulations mean that employers must remain compliant at all times. SSS offers a broad range of Health &Safety related services ranging from regular testing of fire alarms to close monitoring of ‘Comfort’ buttons which give front line staff a sense of security.
Integrated Facilities Management services
Operational plant and utility services such as freezers, HVAC, lighting and other front-of-house mission critical equipment can all be monitored at our Communications Centre. This enables resource managers to identify excessive energy consumption levels and optimise energy conservation measures to minimise costs.

Site surveys, system audits &design service
With our extensive experience in security and facilities management, SSS will undertake an initial assessment of all building service and maintenance procedures, utility provision and plant operation to identify any deficiencies and make appropriate recommendations designed to enhance cost efficiencies and produce higher levels of operational performance.
Managed call response &follow-up
Acting as the single point of contact for both our clients and their security suppliers, the Help Desk evaluates the need for engineer call-outs and so ensure that all costs are minimised.
A diagnostic checklist can resolve many problems without the need for an engineer to visit the site and appropriate actions are confirmed back to the site together with estimated timescales for resolution or remedial action.
Complete audit trail
All calls are given a Unique Reference Number (URN) which is used to verify or validate supplier invoices, enabling costs to be controlled as well as tracking the performance of all contracted suppliers.
